This is a very wide ranging and comprehensive product, and consists of the book, in video flv
format, and 5 modules which are workbooks, based around the 1 ¾ hour video book. In addition there is a 123
page “Transformation Journal".
This is very much a “hands on” course and is rather different in it’s approach from other relationship repair
products we’ve seen.
The whole Ex Back System revolves around 5 stages, from the breakup, to getting back together again. Each stage is
dealt with in great depth, and amounts to a complete strategy for getting an ex back.

Brian Bold has obviously decided to “over deliver” on this – whether he has succeeded or not will depend on the
recipient. There are so many modules to look at, including flow charts and templates for various exercises. Some
people will love this, others will just want a more regular book, like “The Magic of Making Up”, rather than be
deluged with files in the name of “over delivery”!
The 1 ¾ hour video is clear and delivered in an authoritative but sympathetic tone. Although it seems long, we
found it easy to listen to, but after about 45 minutes we began to lose interest, but not because the quality of
information is poor, it isn’t.
The problem is getting back together with an ex is a process. Although the video is broken down for each of the
5 videos, our personal choice is for a manual that you can read and re-read, mark and refer to. We couldn’t find
one amongst all the various files we had to download after buying it. Video seems great as an idea, but in
practice, it frankly gets boring and is not user friendly in the same way as a book you can hold, mark and annotate
as you progress. There are five “workbooks”, which summarise and list the main points of each of the 5 steps, but
you have to listen to the video to get the complete picture.
However, some people will doubtless love it for the sheer volume of “stuff”. It’s not that it delivers anything
new, it doesn’t. The information contained is all good stuff, and more important, effective. But it fails in many
other areas when compared to TW Jackson’s “Magic of Making Up”, or Matt Hustons “Get Him Back Forever”.

The Ex Back System does not go into as much detail as other products as to the actual dynamics that exist in
relationships, and explain the root causes of why relationships fail. This is important because understanding what
makes men and women tick helps a great deal in understanding the strategies required (many counter intuitive), to
get an ex back. It also contains little in the way of simple psychological methods that can easily be employed to
help reconnect with your ex.
So, are we condemning it out of hand? No, not at all. We simply feel that the idea of “take a product and make
it better” has been taken to it’s absolute limit here. Rather than have a straightforward book with an audio
option, Brian Bold has decided to use video, modules, flow charts – there’s even a 123 page “Transformation
Journal”, designed to make you feel better about yourself, where it encourages you, a page for 60 days, to actually
write down various things that you want to get out of your day, how to be a good citizen etc. etc. It’s all very
nice, but complete overkill. I suspect some people will end up feeling worse about themselves
when they miss a day or two.
So, in conclusion, a glossy product that is let down for us by style over substance. It's not that the substance
is poor, it just seems too much time has been spent on the presentation at the expense of adding anything new. Some
people will absolutely love it, particularly those who like to keep a journal, but for us it adds nothing to an
already crowded market.
